Create an emergency contact list for your loved oneHEALTH & MEDICAL
What You Should Know
In case your loved one has an accident, sudden illness, or other emergency, you want to be sure whoever is helping knows whom to contact. Once you've created a safety net of caregivers, social workers, friends, and neighbors, collect all their info in one list. Include everyone's name, address, phone numbers, and email. Identify what each person can offer (proximity, keys, special knowledge, willingness to get supplies, etc.). Mail or email the list to everyone on it. Suggest that people put it on the fridge or in another handy place.
Steps To Take
- Create a list of all doctors, caregivers, and emergency contacts.
- Share the list with all caregivers, both paid and unpaid.
